Biography
Seyi is an 18 year old singer-songwriter from South East London. She comes from a close knit, Nigerian household and is inspired by all art forms - such as film and literature- when writing and creating music. She plays both guitar and piano but her main passion is her voice. She specialises in the genre Neo Soul, inspired by the likes of Jill Scott, WILLOW, Frank Ocean, Lianne La Havas and, most recently, Doechii. Songwriting and performing has always been a key aspect in her life and expressing herself this way has allowed her to find herself, not only as an artist but as a person.

Fresh off the buzz of her debut single ‘Closer’, Seyi is making serious waves on the live music scene. She’s been gigging non-stop, crafting new music, and pouring her soul into every note – building a name for herself as one of the most exciting new voices in UK soul.
Born to sing, raised in church, and deeply in love with the way music connects us all – Seyi brings that spiritual spark to every stage she steps on. The MITS Awards alongside Cat Burns
I had the honor of performing in a choir beside BRIT School alumni Cat Burns at the 2024 MITS Awards. This experience provided me with valuable insight into working professionally in the industry and the ability to create an engaging performance within a limited timeframe.
2025
Opening for Geno Washington
I proudly opened for the highly acclaimed 60's soul legend, Geno Washington, at The Sound Lounge in Sutton. I presented a captivating performance of my original music to an enthusiastic audience and had the opportunity to connect with the talented musicians performing that night, including the legendary Geno himself. It was truly an unforgettable experience.

SXSW
I was thrilled to perform an all-original set at Dream Bags Shoes in Shoreditch during the legendary SXSW festival in London! This experience was absolutely incredible, allowing me to network and showcase my music in such a warm and professional atmosphere. What an unforgettable opportunity!

Seyi and Jos went to music college together and have been keeping up with each other's successes and ventures ever since. This gig acts as a reunion for the two and it's one you do not want to miss!

Upcoming Releases
Seyi will soon be releasing a brand new five track EP called "Simple Sorrows" with her long awaited songs, "So Sweet" "Untitled" and "Tide"
There are two lead singles on this EP, "So Sweet" and "Senseless"
These will be released on the 1st and 12th of May.
These songs are a cross between classic Neo soul and pop with an upbeat and catchy rhythm.
